Fueled by the healing flames of the Vermillion Bird, Samura is ready to reveal his COMPLETE POWER.
Kagurabachi Chapter 76 Spoilers
In the last chapter of Kagurabachi, Hiruhiko employs Kumeyuri to outmaneuver Samura and flee, only to confront Chihiro once more.
Kagurabachi Chapter 76 carries the title, “Banquet.”
This section contains 19 pages.
Editor’s note: “Volume 7 releasing May 2nd (Friday!) That’s real close!”
The title comes from Kumeyuri’s initial recognized technique that was presented in the previous chapter.
Feast mesmerizes victims and ensnares them in a fantasy.
The chapter opens with Kunishige discussing the true realm of an Enchanted Blade, describing how the constraints of an Enchanted Blade change according to its wielder.
We concentrate on the clash between Chihiro and Hiruhiko in the corridor.
Hiruhiko mentions that Chihiro utilized Nishiki to shield his ears as a method to counter Banquet.
Hiruhiko informs Chihiro of his plan to eliminate Samura first and ponders what Yura’s response will be.
Toto states that it doesn’t matter what Hiruhiko does since she will die here regardless, so he must go get Tobimune for the Hishaku.
While Toto conceals himself, Hiruhiko triggers Kumeyuri’s secondary power, Playground (Yuu).
All the Enchanted Blades, except for the Shinuchi, possess three abilities.
Kumeyuri’s “Banquet” induces illusions through intoxications, subsequently impacting their equilibrium similar to that of an inebriated individual.
“Playground” however, enables the user to effortlessly control nearby objects in their vicinity.
This encompasses the corpses of the gang members that he used to leap on Iori.
Chihiro feels insulted by Hiruhiko’s disrespect for the deceased, treating the bodies as mere objects.
It appears that Banquet became more powerful as Chihiro loses his balance once more, despite Nishiki being in his ears.
Hiruhiko, in the meantime, reflects on how often he has truly been defeated by Chihiro and why he continues to undervalue him.
Chihiro notices that Hiruhiko can summon strong attacks whose impact extends to the rooftop, where Samura and Iori are, indicating that the young man’s objective is evidently to conclude matters right here and now.
As Kumeyuri’s two geisha spirits envelop the hotel, Hiruhiko proclaims his unwavering commitment to eliminating Samura.
As they safeguard Ikura, Moku and Rou ponder the whereabouts of Kuguri.
Without warning, the elevator doors fling open, releasing a multitude of dead bodies.
The narrative describes how Samura’s unwavering dedication to eliminating the Sword Saint has led him to become intensely focused on combat, while Hiruhiko now exploits Samura’s restored memories by tossing the corpses, weapons grasped, to his daughter, and also observes how Yura consistently manipulated Samura to obey his commands.
While battling the undead, Samura encounters the memories and fears he had previously locked away, similar to how Iori gradually faced them in earlier chapters.
This encompasses the anxiety that Iori, who endured her father’s reputation, might take her own life, as indicated in Chapter 73: “Daybreak.”
This fear is what enables Samura to be influenced by Kumeyuri’s Banquet and pulled into that memory.
Samura tells himself that he is in an illusion, but then he hears Iori’s screams coming from behind the door in front of him.
When the door swung open, a flood of corpses rushed towards Iori, prompting Samura to shield him with his own body, sustaining serious injuries in the process.
However, the narrative states that this deadly strike “sobered up” Samura, hinting at what is to come.
In the warped corridor, Hiruhiko confronts Chihiro and states that he is the sole person who is entirely free, prompting Chihiro to question Hiruhiko about his extreme actions against Samura.
Amidst them, Crow feathers from Samura fall, which Hiruhiko observes.
Iori stands isolated on the rooftop, surrounded by the fallen bodies below, indicating that “Playground” has been turned off.
From the outside, Kuguri is bewildered by all the sudden events taking place.
Iori was astonished to witness Samura’s injuries mend, before the man vanished and then appeared in the corridor with Chihiro and Hiruhiko.
Stating that Hiruhiko can’t accomplish anything at the moment, Samura triggers Suzaku the Vermillion Bird, his third power.
On a stunning final page, Samura’s face is shrouded in darkness as it appears that he is opening his eyes and the flames of Suzaku are restoring him.
Although Suzaku is not actually a phoenix and the Eastern phoenix is not linked to healing, the Vermillion Bird Suzaku does possess healing attributes.
