Will Haki Be Awakened by Robin? Robin and Gaban against the Knights of God! One Piece Chapter 1147 Full Spoilers!

The Straw Hats, lacking the Monster Trio, might not be prepared for God’s Knights, but Robin could be. Will she trigger Haki in Elbaph?

One Piece Chapter 1147 Full Spoilers

In the last chapter of One Piece, the Holy Knights decisively overpower the Straw Hats and Giants, exposing their immortality and seeming connection to the former King of Elbaph, Harald.

Chapter 1147 is titled, “Things That We Fear”

This chapter consists of 15 pages.

The title resembles Chapter 1142, where Gunko revealed that his ultimate fear is Nika, so will Luffy encounter Gunko in this chapter?

We are currently reading Volume 32 of Ogre Child Yamato’s Golden Harvest Surrogate Pilgrimage, in which Raizo feeds Yamato onigiri following his victory over Who’s-Who. On the cover, Tama is shown embracing Baize.

Are the Straw Hats Completely Unprepared for the Final War?

The chapter presents a flashback detailing the events that occurred prior to Sommers’ assault on Robin.

Saul explains to Robin that the God Knights cannot die, indicating that, similar to Usopp, his Haki strikes were capable of damaging Sommers’ body, yet no assault could eradicate them entirely since they would just regenerate like the Five Elders.

Saul instructs Robin and Chopper to conceal themselves in his hair, indicating that this provides the complete context for the final scene of Chapter 1146.

We shift to the moment when Gunko captures the Straw Hats.

It is rather disappointing to observe that the Straw Hats, lacking the Monster Trio, could hardly prevent Gunko from capturing Colon or inflict any damage on her.

Though Jinbei was with them, they were evidently overpowered by Gunko’s divine strength, and Jinbei is seeking a means to end this immortality.

A Fishman wielding Haki has two ways to negate Devil Fruits, but if the immortality stems from a Haki-driven devil’s deal with Imu, then it’s likely that Conqueror’s Haki may be the answer.

Ultimately, Joy Boy’s knot managed to return the Five Elders to Mariejois, causing Imu to shiver with fear.

It is possible that the ancient methods of Haki could be revealed in Elbaph as a strategy to combat God’s Knights, entities that even the powerful Giant Warriors could not injure.

Identifying him from the tunes she enjoyed (New World), Gunko proposes to make Brook her musical servant.

She isn’t fond of Brook but views him and music as mere tools for her own enjoyment as a pampered Celestial Dragon child.

Brook expresses his regrets to the young woman, explaining that since Luffy rescued him on Thriller Bark, he has pledged his allegiance to him.

Gunko menaces Brook with death, but Brook responds that it’s preferable to die honorably than to exist without respect.

Appropriately, Brook refrains from making another of his skeleton jokes, indicating that this is indeed a serious statement.

Sadly, Brook doesn’t deliver the line about Luffy becoming the Pirate King in this instance.

That said, this is a favorable time for the character.

Gunko strikes Brook, sending him flying.

The World Government Fears Education

Using a Den Den Mushi, Sommers instructs Gunko to release the Straw Hats since this isn’t their responsibility and they wish to avoid conflict with a Yonko (Luffy).

Luffy’s fame rescues his crew instead of them saving themselves.

While riding a thorn-covered snake, Sommers declares to the citizens of Elbaph that they possess their children and will only give them back if the Giants annihilate their libraries and educational institutions.

This is among the most deceptive statements ever uttered.

You can observe how the World Government feels endangered by education.

Since the Enies Lobby Arc exposed the Void Century’s existence, we’ve witnessed the World Government’s anxiety over anyone uncovering history beyond the textbooks and media that they control and censor.

However, for the World Government to specifically focus on the idea of education to develop compliant Giant mercenaries has further diminished their standing.

Mother Carmel was the source of their trafficked Giant children, and without her, they lost their edge over the rest of the world. This clearly indicates that Imu and God’s Knights are quite desperate, and that Harald, despite being an ally of the World Government, was secretly giving hope to the people of Elbaph.

This casts Loki’s role in Harald’s death into greater doubt, since he has yet to denounce Harald or his changes.

Even though Colon is with the kids, he can’t escape the line due to the monsters around them.

Will Robin Learn Haki?

The formidable Eirik then collapses as the Giant Warrior Pirates confront the MMAs (Killingham’s nightmare creatures) that look like their spouses, and the Giants are too afraid to engage in battle.

Happy this occurred to verify that Dory, Brogy, Kashii, and Oimo were married, but also regretful that their wives have been waiting so long for them to return.

Perhaps that is the reason for their fear. Does that mean those women are deceased? How gloomy.

Regardless, we observe Gaban being reunited with his wife Ripley, who urges him to save their son.

Gaban sets out to locate Colon, and simultaneously, Robin emerges and readies for battle, with both characters declaring that they will not allow the God’s Knights to prevail.

Are we certain that Elbaph is Usopp’s storyline? Since this arc has been focusing more on Franky and Robin than on Usopp.

Robin notices that her beloved friend Saul is injured while defending them and Elbaph, realizing that Elbaph will suffer the same destiny as Ohara if the vital knowledge that she, her mother, her friend, the other Ohara archaeologists, and Vegapunk fought hard to safeguard is lost. Consequently, she is now resolute in her mission to halt the God’s Knights.

Will we witness that willpower develop into a new kind of skill?

This meeting could suggest that Robin is set to encounter Scopper Gaban for the first time, and there may be a chance of her battling alongside him, possibly even demonstrating Haki in some way, although this seems quite distant to envision.

She is knowledgeable about Haki, as she remarked on Luffy’s Conqueror’s Haki in Fishman Island and his battle with Logia user Caesar Clown on Punk Hazard.

Regrettably, after observing all her fights, there is no evidence that Robin can utilize Haki.

Something may be required to stimulate that.

Haki may awaken in stressful situations but can also emerge unexpectedly, even in the absence of experience or knowledge of Haki.

Luffy employed the unusual conqueror’s Haki merely to halt the enormous bull that Iron Mask Duval was riding during the Sabaody Archipelago Arc.

Usopp activates Observation Haki while targeting Sugar on Dressrosa.

Therefore, it is likely that Robin could trigger Haki instead of acquiring it through combat with Gaban.

Being a master of Haki is one thing, but teaching it is another, as Rayleigh exemplified what an ideal teacher should be.

With Armament Haki or even Advanced Conqueror’s Haki, Robin’s Hana Hana no Mi would rank among the most lethal Devil Fruits ever.

Because of Golden Week, One Piece will take a break next week.

The release date for One Piece Chapter 1148 is set for May 4, 2025.
