As predicted, Jojo Day would confirm the release of Part 7 of the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure anime.
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Finally Coming Back
On Jojo Day, April 12, 2025, it was revealed that the Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure anime would progress the narrative with Part 7: Steel Ball Run.
This was initially suggested as early as December 12, 2024, affirming fans’ anticipation for the long-awaited adaptation of the series.
The main visual was showcased in a brief video outlining the extensive in-universe history of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Character designs have also been unveiled for the primary characters: Johnny and Gyro Zepelli.
Steel Ball Run presents the inaugural tale in the new universe, set in the United States in 1890, many years post-Civil War, as jockeys from around the globe gather for the Steel Ball Run cross-country horse race, which stretches from San Diego to New York City.
In this new universe, Jojo is Johnny Joestar, a past jockey who becomes a paraplegic and enters the race because of Gyro Zeppeli, a competitor from Naples, Italy, and his Steel Balls that contain the secret to regaining his ability to walk.
